SafeZone
"Making our riads, railways and workplaces safer."
SafeZone became a discrete business unit of Inventis Technology, after successful road trials in 2007 showed the viability and effectiveness of the SafeZone concept, which was the use of wirelessly controlled flashing warning beacons to deliver more effective warnings to drivers in advance of a danger zone as they approached. By delivering more effective warnings, drivers were afforded they improved response times required to avoid an incident, eg crossing a railway line at a level crossing that was active, or entering a school zone at more than the statutory speed limit.
SafeZone's use of PNE-developed wireless control technology not only enables improved visual alerts to be delivered in a wide range of road, rail and private premises applications, its ability to signficantly reduce costs and speed deployment times is enabling goverments, safety authorities and private enterprises to implement safety solutions more quickly and for less, as well as into environments where traditional treatments have proved problematic or entirely unsuitable.
